Welcome to the Official Site of LurkSquad (lurk squad) - LurkSquad is a sketch comedy group that creates free comedy videos for everyone to watch on the web. LurkSquad consists of five friends from Santa Barbara, California: Nick Spears, Chris Marquis, Adam Marquis, Garrett Lynn and Mark Magid.


LurkSquad's sketch comedy funny videos can be found all over the web and are quickly growing in popularity.  As of 2008, LurkSquad videos will combind for a total of over 3.7 million views online.

The most famous video LurkSquad has produced, titled "MTV Scarred Spoof", was featured on Nick Cannon Presents: MTV Short Circuitz. MTV had to edit and change a lot of the music for license purposes, but here is the full unrated version. Starring Nick Spears as the extreme skipping guru, Larry the "Loco", Chris Marquis as Jablome, Adam Marquis as Larry Loco's friend. The filming and sick editing was done by Garrett Lynn.

LurkSquad's MTV Scarred Spoof has over 850,000 plays via YouTube and 500,000 views via Myspace as of February 2008. The MTV Scarred Spoof has also been featured on StupidVideos.com and Myspace. Plus the sport of extreme skipping has taken off (for real), thanks to short circuitz and all of the mtv scarred skipping publicity.

LurkSquad's first video "Extreme Pogo" was featured on the Yahoo! 9, the front page of the "N'east Magazine" website, the front page of Myspace in July of 2008, and in November of 2007 Extreme Pogo was featured within the Venice Beach Film Festival (Venice the Menace Shorts) at the Santa Monica Third St. Promenade. Several other LurkSquad videos have been featured on FunnyorDie.com and the "Brad" series has also been featured on Myspace.
